About JAM
Jesus and Me Fellowship Ministries was founded over 15 years ago in Bakersfield, CA. Originally known as Friday Night JAM we would meet on Friday Nights in Pastor Shorty’s backyard where we would have worship and praise, a bible study and as our name mentions, we would play music or jam and have fellowship.
Our ministry has taken various forms from meeting on Fridays to Sundays, in Pastor Shorty’s backyard and in local parks around Bakersfield. You could say we weren’t your typical church or ministry but we have always stayed true to one thing and that is the word of God.
In 2020 when the pandemic hit the United States it changed the shape of our ministry all together. We switched gears completely and began our online ministry unsure of what God had in-store for us but we acted in faith.
God is faithful, we have been able to reach people all over the United States even into other countries such as Switzerland, Ireland, England and Mexico.

Prayer
Our faith is one that acknowledges the important prayer is for our relationship with Jesus Christ as well as our fellowship with one another.
One thing we do as a ministry is take prayer requests during the week so we can pray for them during our service on Friday Nights.
